Guiding and supporting teachers in:

Curriculum Integration and Lesson Planning
We collaborate with teachers to integrate unique grade-level content in history, social studies, and science with the ELA Common Core Curriculum through the writing of poetry, prose, and song lyrics.

We build teachers’ skills, knowledge and confidence in using our innovative program strategies, techniques and activities in their classrooms.

Instructional Practice
We model teaching approaches and offer learning experiences that connect students to content curriculum through their personal life experiences, using their diverse cultural heritages as themes for creative expression.

Troubadour uses both the Collaborative Coaching and Learning Model (CCL) and Partnership Teaching—two proven models—to design professional development trainings delivered as stand-alone sessions and integrated sessions.
